Biography

Computer scientist from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and longtime member of the Irish-American support movement. The fourth defendant in the 1990 Boston federal trial of Richard Johnson, Christina Reid, and Martin Quigley. Convinced the jury would believe the FBI's lies, he plea-bargained for a lighter sentence and told reporters after pleading guilty, 'those guys lied so much…you can't make a missile in your backroom.' Judge A. David Mazzone sentenced him to two years federal imprisonment — a longer sentence than he had previously agreed to.
