Biography

Fred Homi Iriye was a Japanese American draft resister confined at Heart Mountain and later imprisoned at McNeil Island. He refused conscription while his community was deprived of its civil rights. In 1946 he was electrocuted while working in the prison power plant, shortly before his planned release.
