Biography
David Webb is a police-accountability activist, a self-described instigative journalist and First Amendment auditor known for filming his encounters with police and city officials and posting them online. In 2025 he was barred from Worcester City Hall by the city manager over what officials called intrusive and aggressive behavior toward employees and a barrage of emails; the ban was extended in June 2026. He has faced a series of cases in Worcester District Court arising from his confrontations with police, including charges of disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting arrest (arraigned June 10, 2026), as well as disorderly conduct for allegedly flying a drone without authorization and illegal dumping for allegedly placing a bag of dog feces on a police cruiser. Jury trials in several of these cases were scheduled for mid-June 2026. He now lives in Washington state.
