Biography

Daniel Burgevin is a peace activist from Trumansburg, New York and participant in Upstate Drone Action. On October 1, 2012, he was among a group of activists who entered Hancock Field Air National Guard Base near Syracuse to protest the U.S. drone warfare program. Hancock trains drone pilots and coordinates lethal MQ-9 Reaper drone strikes in Afghanistan. Burgevin was convicted of disorderly conduct and sentenced to 15 days in Onondaga County Jail in 2013.
