Biography
Clarence W. Waldron, a Pentecostal preacher from Windsor, Vermont, was convicted in part for distributing a pamphlet entitled "The Word of the Cross" and in part for stating that "A Christian ought not and should not fight." He received a fifteen-year prison sentence and served in Atlanta Penitentiary from April 1, 1918, until his sentence was commuted on April 1, 1919. Waldron had one child.
