Biography
Clara Petra Wold (November 12, 1890 - 1923) was an Oregon journalist, a member of the National Woman's Party, and one of the "Silent Sentinels" imprisoned during the 1917-1919 campaign to picket the Wilson White House for woman suffrage.
She was sentenced to fifteen days and served August 15 to 20, 1918, released early with the rest of that group. Arrested again at the watchfire demonstration of February 9, 1919, she was sentenced the following day to five days and released on February 13.
Her second term was in February 1919, not January; earlier versions of this record placed it in the wrong month.
