Biography
Cal Ray Biggins was an 18-year-old Black Dallas youth indicted by the Dallas County grand jury for the January 7, 1974 murder of an elderly couple in their store. He was arrested four days later after a 5,000-dollar reward was offered and a paid informer called police to implicate him. The Black Panther reported the case as a frame-up; more than fifty supporters organized around his aunt, Mrs. Roberta King, with the Dallas Chapter of the Party. Reconstructed from The Black Panther, February 23, 1974; disposition not located.
