Biography
Bob Jackson was one of a group of Black youths indicted for the first-degree murder of Park Policeman Milo Kennedy at Logan Circle, Washington, D.C. in August 1932 — a case, tied to the Bonus March terror, in which the ILD argued the young men had acted in self-defense against a policeman attacking them for refusing to be jim-crowed. Three were convicted and faced death.
