Biography

Detroit-based Methodist pastor, theologian, and lifelong nonviolent activist; longtime contributing editor for Sojourners. National steering committee of Clergy and Laity Concerned about the War in Vietnam (1967-76). Engaged in Central America Pledge of Resistance actions and Plowshares-tradition civil disobedience throughout the 1980s. Best-documented arrest is the Detroit "Homrich 9" water-shutoff protest in 2014.
