Biography

Arthur Lee Washington Jr. was a Black Liberation Army-associated activist wanted for allegedly shooting at and attempting to murder a New Jersey state trooper during a January 1989 traffic stop. Added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted list (No. 427) on October 18, 1989, he was removed on December 27, 2000 when he no longer met the list criteria. He was never captured, and his fate is unknown.
