Biography
Anthony "Tony" Williams was an Attica prisoner prosecuted after the September 1971 uprising. Attica News documented two months in Erie County Jail on the resulting indictment before its dismissal was announced in February 1973. A later notice by fellow prisoner Akil identified Williams by his full name and reported that he had died at Great Meadow Correctional Facility in Comstock, New York. The notice said the writers learned of his death on June 19, 1975; his actual death date remains unverified.
