Biography

Anna Ganley was a Detroit radical, active in Scottsboro defense and anti-war work, who faced deportation on the testimony of paid informer witnesses during the McCarthy era. Her case was among those featured in the National Guardian's 1952 reporting on the drive to deport foreign-born radicals and trade unionists.
