Biography

Alice M. Gram (March 16, 1895 - January 24, 1984), later Alice M. Gram Robinson, was a member of the National Woman’s Party and one of the "Silent Sentinels" imprisoned during the 1917-1919 campaign to picket the Wilson White House for woman suffrage.

She was arrested on November 10, 1917, held again on November 13, and sentenced on November 14 to thirty days. She was transferred to the Occoquan Workhouse on November 15 and released with the remaining prisoners on November 27 and 28, about thirteen or fourteen days into the sentence.
