Biography

Albert Skinner was one of nine present and former leaders of the independent International Union of Mine, Mill & Smelter Workers convicted in Denver in December 1959 of conspiracy to file false non-Communist affidavits under the Taft-Hartley Act — a prosecution the union condemned as an attempt to destroy it.
