Biography

Ahmed Obafemi, formerly Jesse Dixon, was a New Afrikan organizer associated with the Republic of New Afrika, the New Afrikan People’s Organization and the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement. Born September 25, 1938, he worked on community and political-prisoner campaigns. His 1991 institute biography records imprisonment in Florida from July 1972 to October 1976 and subsequent organizing in Harlem. A Spring 2022 Re-Build memorial issue commemorated him; his precise death date remains unverified.

The ten-year penalty is not entered as time served.
